Sound - Any worries I had about the drum sounding thin were blown away. I have a Premier HTS 200 that I had fine tuned with a core-tec that sounded amazing. After having played the Super XTS my 200 now sounds like a cardboard box. The factory settings on the drum are excellent. The pitch compliments the pitch of modern Great Highland Bagpipes very well. Myself and other members in the drumcorps were shocked to learn there was only a top snare. You would never know from listening to the drum.

The world's lightest high tension Drum Corps Marching Snare Drum.

The Parade XTS is constructed us-ing high tech materials such as Titanum alloy and aircraft grade aluminium, but with a wooden ply drum shell. We beleive that the best resonance is produced from a wooden drum shell.

This drum has a new and unique design of snare. This employs our own Rotary Snare TM wire that operates without the need for 'snare beds', as so extends the life of the bottom drum skin. This drum also has a unique throw lever that provides on/off and tension adjustment, all in one lever.

Because the complete mechanism for snare operations is contained in the bottom hoop, the drum shell is truly suspended between the drum skins and produces greater volume.

Single end tensioning means that tuning is quicker and easier.

Compatible with our own Flint harness, Premier T-bar, Jim Kilpatrick and Randall May type harnesses.
